These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ala Cinco website, mobile experience, and booking services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

The Platform is operated by Ala Cinco (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Philippines-based vacation-rental and staycation brand offering accommodations in locations including Bicutan and Zambales.

2. Our service

Ala Cinco provides an online way to browse properties, check availability, make reservations, pay online or submit manual payment proofs, manage bookings, save favorites, leave reviews, and contact support.

You may browse much of the Platform without an account. An account is required for features such as saving wishlists, storing payment preferences, and completing bookings tied to your profile.

3. Accounts and authentication

When you register, you must provide accurate information (name, email, phone number, and password). Passwords must meet our stated requirements (at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and a number or special character).

You may sign in with Google. Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. We receive from Google the information needed to create or access your account (such as name, email, and profile photo from Google’s allowed image hosts).

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may close your account at any time through the Delete account option on your Profile page (see our Privacy Policy, Section 13, for what happens to your data). Closing your account does not cancel existing confirmed bookings; you remain responsible for obligations tied to reservations already made.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or pose a security or fraud risk.

4. Bookings and reservations

A booking request is not confirmed until payment is successfully completed (for automated online payments) or until we verify and approve your booking (for manual, cash, or certain other payment methods). Availability and pricing shown at checkout are subject to confirmation.

You must provide accurate guest and contact details. For certain locations, we require valid government-issued identification for the primary booker and guests above the minimum age stated at checkout (including front and back of ID and, where requested, a selfie). Submitting false or misleading IDs may result in cancellation without refund and possible legal action.

Each property or location may display its own house rules and cancellation policy during checkout. Those rules form part of your reservation. Read them carefully before paying.

Unless a property’s checkout policy explicitly states otherwise in writing, all confirmed bookings are non-refundable. Cancelling or modifying a booking does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, including partial payments, down payments, or fees.

You may cancel eligible bookings through the self-service cancel flow before your check-in date, but cancellation releases your reservation only and does not restore payment. You may not cancel on or after your check-in date through that flow. Rescheduling may be limited (including one complimentary self-service reschedule per booking where offered).

5. Payments and pricing

Prices, fees (including cleaning fees where shown), promo discounts, and payment options are displayed at checkout in Philippine Pesos (PHP) unless otherwise stated.

Online card, e-wallet, online banking, and QR payments are processed by PayMongo on their secure, PCI-DSS compliant pages. We do not store your full card number or CVC on our servers. You may optionally save a tokenized payment method for faster future checkout.

Cryptocurrency payments may be offered through NowPayments. Crypto transactions are subject to network conditions and provider policies.

Manual or cash payments require you to upload proof as instructed. Unverified manual bookings may be automatically declined if not reviewed within the timeframe stated in our systems (typically within 72 hours of submission).

Online payment sessions generally expire after 30 minutes if not completed. Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may result in booking cancellation.

Chargebacks and payment disputes should be raised with us first at privacy@alacinco.com so we can assist; abusive chargebacks may lead to account restriction.

6. House rules and conduct during your stay

You and all guests must follow the house rules and policies for your booked property and location (including quiet hours, smoking restrictions, guest limits, and check-in/check-out times). Rules are shown during booking and on your booking confirmation.

You are responsible for damage caused by you or your guests, loss of keys or access devices, and compliance with resort or building security requirements (including gatepass procedures where applicable).

We may refuse entry or terminate a stay without refund if IDs are invalid, guest counts exceed the booking, or house rules are seriously violated.

7. Reviews and user content

If you submit reviews, ratings, photos, or support messages, you grant Ala Cinco a non-exclusive license to use, display, and moderate that content in connection with the Platform and marketing for the properties you stayed at.

Reviews may be moderated or removed if they violate our guidelines, contain unlawful content, or are suspected to be fraudulent. Your display name may appear with published reviews.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to engage in the following:

  • Making fraudulent bookings or payment proofs
  • Uploading another person’s ID without authorization
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, or overloading the Platform
  • Harassing staff or other users via support chat or reviews
  • Circumventing security, rate limits, or access controls
  • Using the Platform for unlawful purposes

9. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, logos, mascot, text, images, and software, is owned by Ala Cinco or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content except as allowed for personal, non-commercial use related to your booking.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every listing description is error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, Ala Cinco is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or your stay, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or other liability that cannot be limited by law.

We are not responsible for third-party services (payment processors, maps, social networks) or force majeure events (natural disasters, government orders, utility failures, etc.).

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Material changes will be posted on the Platform; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.

13. Communications

By using the Platform you agree to receive service messages required to operate your bookings — for example confirmations, payment receipts, gatepass and check-in details, and verification codes.

We may also send marketing messages such as promotions, offers, and updates. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link in those emails or by contacting privacy@alacinco.com; service messages will still be sent because they are necessary to provide the service.
